Two strand fakes

Tabs like the were floating all over Ebay 10 years ago. I think they are East European fakes. A lot of these came with the two strands and a strange looking buckram (as in the first collar tabs pair - and several more tabs posted here). One should keep in mind that 2 strand twisted wire borders are Very rare for originals. 3 strand is the norm. Also the buck ram is typical for this fake series along with odd runes. Some of these rank tabs also had cast pips as seen on the rank tab in the second pair.

I got fooled myself 10 years ago by these, a good lesson for me. I hope and think most forum member collectors are aware of these today.
