eBay Photo of SS-troops wearing Splinter camo

The Auction on this Photo just finished:

Seems it is SS-troops in training wearing splinter camo clothing. Maeby the guy on the left even wears a splinter wrap? Two MG42´s present, so must be 1943 or later.

Any idea to what these troops are? And why they are wearing splinter camo (and not SS camo)? It does not seem to be the usual splinter clothes so maeby retailored Zeltbahns?

They are not wearing splinter pattern, but combinations made out of captured italian camo material, favourited by the 12. SS. Panter-Div. "HJ".
