Sorry, but it is all a bit to "mint" for me.

The insignia appear to be all original .....

I agree with Ian. It´s looks original. From the Pics I can´t see anything wrong. OK, it really looks all a little bit too minty but who knows? If it is real, it would be a Dream Uniform

If you can post close-ups of the interior details, plus any markings, that would help a lot.

As we know, there are mint tunics, the insignia looks nice.

Even though it was occasionally issued like this, its still a 6 button Heer pattern... an anomaly..
meaning to me its value is in the parts only... (tunic + Dachau insignia, unissued)

I also read somewhere that, unlike the other foreign units (Albanians,Danes, Estonians, French etc), the Dutch actually NEVER were issued
this final (Dachau) pattern Dutch nationality shield. These remained in Dachau for some reason...Supply problems?

Is that really true? (I have never seen period pictures of Dutch troops wearing this pattern shield btw...)
If so, its certainly a post war creation!
Were the front pockets moved up? (meaning tunic shortened) blocking the belt support holes or made like this?

This might be another possible Standschutzen uniform, last ditch made in Tyrol for their volkssturm (standschutzen) ...
often simplified cut (production short cuts, odd colored simplified lining black/blue and often made in Italian wool...

                              Hi there,
i casually dropped by and saw this discussion. I would just apply plain common sense:
anyone of you (i include myself) knows how to store and keep any of its collection items so that the years dont affect them? at ALL i mean.
                              I dont.
And i know you concern about it, same as i do, same as every collector.
So, how should this tunic have survived over 60years completely unchanged just by coincidence?
The term "too mint" is "too clear" to me: made yesterday.

In the best of cases made of original fabric, unissued insignia etc. but yesterday.

                              Cheers
