The jacket was one of the 1st that came out of check republik in 1990 (actually it was the 1st I have ever seen and owned), the trousers I found in 1996 from a vet who returned with them from russian captivity after 10 years.Comment

The Army Museum Žižkov

I was at the The Army Museum Žižkov in Prague. As your link shows there are several others. This museum used to be at Hrdcany Castle but was moved. I highly recommend it if you are in Europe. MikeComment

I usually don't frequent the WWII era forums here, but I was watching a video on youtube and was intrigued by this portion. The film itself is a postwar Czech production from 1955 called "Tank Brigade", which most likely used still plentiful WWII era stocks of Soviet and German equipment for the filming, and one frame shows a German soldier running away in what appears to be Leibermuster camo. The only postwar productions of Leibermuster camo and derivatives I know of is in the West/neutral countries (BRD and Swiss), so I can only assume this jacket is genuine. Perhaps the one in the Czech museum might even be this very one!

Very likely original. Photos have shown german troops in Czechoslovakia surrendering in 1945 wearing Leibermuster clothing.
