Early SS EM Bukcle and LAH ? Case from one vet

    Early SS EM Bukcle and LAH ? Case from one vet

    I baught this stuff today, was told a old man sold the stuff said he took them off a german during the war. Hopeing the buckle is a original, the case has what looks like a LAH on the top? Any help would be great!

              hello. the case I do not think is german made /used. "battle of holland " is in English , not german. might have been made for an allied soldier = ??
              buckle = no comment , do not know. jeff

                Buckle is original early nickel O&C marked Overhoff.

                  The initials on the box may not be LAH. I see the "A" and "H", but not the "L" very clearly.

                    IMO , The "Battle of Holland" was scratched in by the soldier that picked it up not the one that made it.

                      The monogram on the case does not appear to be the LAH cypher, to me.

                        Initials on the box are "A" and "M" IMO. Sure not LAH!
