There is no question about it. The eagle is a genuine W-SS
cap eagle, but dyed post-war, and the skull is a post-war
reproduction (and a poor one at that) that has been dyed.
Both insignias, if original, should be of a deep emerald
green hue. ..


Taking another look at the eagle ddelich MAY be right ..
And if this new member is indeed his namesake he is a VETERAN collector in that arena..note the diamond pattern square on check..wont see that on the similar fake if memory serves... Billbert
