I’m proposed this cuff in a trade, it has been taken of a uniform and has been seriously shorted, what would be the good trade value of this item “as is”??

To paraphrase the Joker in the Batman movie.."Where does HE find all this wonderful stuff"...Beautiful cufftitle Marc...this is the Allgemeine style of cufftitle..the SS-VT was done in one word without hyphen. As for value, hell..what ever you feel is comfortable with you. Lets just say it is not the same as a Horst Wessel cufftitle. for price comparison.

Thank you Greg, but can someone give me a hind?? I’ve look al over the dealer’s sites and have not seen one of these cuffs. In this condition is it worth 500?? 700?? 200?? 1000??? I hind would help as don’t wand to over value but also not be sheap with the guy and rip him off.

Jim Toncar had this to say concerning the cuffband and wanted me to post his comments:
the cufftitle " Sanitat-Abteilung " was the pattern worn by the Totenkopfverbande, seeMollo, vol. 5 , addenum to pg. 39, fig.4 , "this armband was worn by both the SS VT and the Totenkopfverbande. the difference lay in the SS-VT version being one word , while that for the SS -TV was hyphenated . Photos and exsisting examples suggest that only the hyphenated version exsisted. , and the SS Price lists also seem to prove this point. This cufftitle should be considered very rare and desirable.

I really should have these Mollo books but they seem to be hard to find. Although I know Andrew personally, I don’t have his books.
