Unusual insignia placement on hats

Hello Gentlemen

These pictures are taken from a photo album that is for sale on the internet. What I have never seen before is the placement of the eagles on the hats being worn in two photographs shown below.

Standard placement for such prewar (M34) overseas caps with metal TK button of the front. Early caps such as these are also WH shape with scallop!
Cap eagle appearing on a triangular shaped patch as was the norm with this early style cap. Nothing unusual here!

I like the motorcycle image showing both a BMW and Zundapp! Thanks for sharing!

What's truely exotic is such M34 caps in black, as used by SS-VT originally
and later by Waffen SS armored crews (before the standard M40's were issued). Image from a prior WAF member posting, repeated here.

True! I got the TV (Totenkopfverbande) and VT (Verfugungstruppe) mixed up!
You can indeed see the deathshead tab clearly! The officers piping on the cap is cool too!
