Cuff Titles and Sleeve Eagle

Okay, since the Dachau tabs I assumed were fake (which I fortunately bought) turned out good, I guess i might as well check a couple things I didn't buy. Maybe they'll be there next time (though the prices were much steeper on these - the dealer assumed these were good from the get-go).

The sleeve eagle actually looked good to me, but I wasn't sure the price was right.

The cuffs just didn't look right to me, based on condition. I dunno. Maybe I'm wrong, but they were too pricey to gamble with.

(edit: also, the letters look way too sloppy.)

The fake sleeve eagle has been around since at least the mid 70's and even appears as a line drawing in vol.1 or Uniforms, Organisation & History of the Waffen-SS by Bender.

The embroidery on the cuff bands does not match known originals, either in the font of the letters, nor in materials.

The eagle is a known fake.
