    SS Cuff Links on E-Stand

I think these SS cuff links should have been discussed earlier. I doubt their originality:

It was once thought that the Gahr firm made them but that has never been proven 100%.... Also thought to be the 'birthday cufflinks'/ SS presentation pieces but that has never been proven either.

Who would buy them without some kind of research findings or better photos, or in hand inspection I don't know. Anyone spending any money more than a pair of current cufflinks just has too much money or likes to gamble.

    * Only thing known for sure is that von Ribbontrop had a pair of the same exact pattern.

These are nothing like the cufflinks in the Gahr
        book or the "Birthday cufflinks"

The cuff links look like something you could buy from Germania International. Bob Johnston always seems to have a spare pair!

Seiler,,they are of the same basic pattern as the mismatched examples in the Silversmith book [yes no outside edging, diff toggle, etc].

Read my 2nd para,,,just being polite.......

As I mentioned the Ribbontrop pair are the only 100% documented examples known.. If you know of any other pairs with good provanance please let us know I'd love to see them.......

I well remember the hysterics of some so called
esteemed Members of a couple of Forums.SS experts
my butt!Never ever resolved because "they"had no
              answer but plenty of yada,yada,yada.
So thanks but no thanks G.What I know is mine and stays
that way.The "Doubting Thomases"can do their own research.
