            No it is extremely well oxidized silver piping.

              Gary, why do you think these are bad? Is it the roughness of the runes, the thickness of the piping, the backing material? Again, I'm learning and these don't jump out immediately as bad, like some of the stuff I've seen posted.

                      Thanks Gary. Is the backing material on the rank tab what you would want to see, that fine "canvas" like material? I have also seen "originals" on the forum with that coarse burlap like backing. IYO, are all tabs with this sort of backing bad?
