Love the patina on the nickel silver/nausilber. Shame about the condition of the blade.

The front of the blade is in perfect condition. But the backside with the Roehm inscription is bad

On the blade is only old oil. I`ve leaved the dagger like I got it.

What a beautiful, untouched dagger. I would be tempted to oil or treat the rust spots on the scabbard, but can appreciate it in it's current condition. The patina and overall condition shows good honest use and no collector tampering. Congratulations!

There is a name tag on the leather strap and the SS number if the owner on the dagger (on the Parierstange). Is here anyone who could help me to get more infos about the former owner of the dagger?

You can try to remove old oil with a little marseille soap in 30_40 ° pure watuer and use n extremely soft brush to remove ugly oil psti.a. It is not absutely an invasive thing you will have slight results but appreciables and you'll not delete the true patina. make circles than use water to wash and a soft cloth to trmove water. Don't p
ress cloth lu.to blade.

Nice dagger but i would remove that old oil carefully and put some wax
on the blade
