Need ID and advice on camo smock

Hi, I'm relatively new to Third Reich camouflage uniforms but I was recently offered this pullover smock:

I'd like to know what you think and perhaps help me determine a fair price I can offer the seller.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately the seller is somewhat technologically limited but here are some details:

It's represented as original, captured in France.

      Hope this helps.

The 1st foto was already enough - no need for detailed pics.

Agree, you can clearly see the construction is wrong.

Fair enough, thank you gentlemen. It's hard for a novice like me, since there are now reproductions of early reproductions being made..

Start out with original zelts (army zelts will be good enough to get a feeling for original fabric). SS zelts will tell you more about patterns and prints. This alone will help you a lot.

                    Cheers

The prices are simply too high unfortunately. Maybe when the baby boomers die off, I'll look into Third Reich stuff. But right now, post-war camouflage uniforms are fun to hunt down and relatively inexpensive, and the diversity to choose from is wild.

Well, I found the same smock posted on eBay and the guy is trying to pass it off as a genuine piece.

                          Description:
This is a original German camo smock that was brought back by a D-day vet who was in the 29th division,
The story is that he found it in a barn around St lo .It was bought a couple of years ago from the family.
I tryed to take many pictures to show the detail of it. If you need more pictures just ask

Ha! Why is it always a barn?
