For me, fake markings on a non-German map case.

Here is mine for comparison. I am sure it is real. Marks look to be old judging from leather crack pattern that developed around them. Same one like mine with different year was sold by Collectors Guild 2 or 3 years ago. Two long pockets inside under the flap are missing.
