Ss ribbon and rank tab for opinion

Hi ,
I am putting up for opinion this SS Ribbon and collar tab. I did a bit of research on the forum, and I noticed that my ribbon has a good chance at being an original. As for the SS rank collar tab, I know that a lot of collectors are not fans of the silver stripe due to the narrowness of the black stripe. The tabs construction looks good to me.
More opinions are welcome and very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jan i dont know about the ribbon but i would say the rank tab is a fake bevo pattern.

Hi Dvaid, Thanks for your opinion, but can you give me a reason as to why you think the collar tab is a fake? I sent a pic of the tab to a forum member, who knows his stuff when it comes to the ss, and he said he didn't see any problems. I did some research on the forum and found 2 posts of tabs that show the same backing material.

I could be wrong about your tab,Let's see what other opinions you get.
attached is the reverse side of a original bevo enlisted tab note the difference around the edge.

Sorry Jan, I think it's replica also. I have had these, and they are not built like originals - very thin and the bevo tab part is off.

The ribbon looks promising, unfortunately I sold all my SS medals so I can't get a decent shot of another to compare to but some folks here have one I'm sure.
