SS greatcoat armband?

Hi there
I'm a medal collector and took this as a deal sweetener a couple of years ago.
The other items which came with it are fine.
One dealer i have shown this to believes this to be a fake - reasons unstated.
A friend of mine who is an experienced ss collector believes it to be real - and a very early example.
It is of wool construction, with a ribbed central disc. Both the disc and band appear faded through use.
I'd appreciate any thoughts from ss collectors out there.

The swastika is very irregular but from these photo's that's about all I can make out, close-ups of the label would help also

Hi better pics. would help. But ev en fron these I am 99% sure it is bad. I have had a few like this one. I can tell by the tag and the way it was constructed.One mistake on this one is that the black bands were sewn right at the top and bottom of the band. Best regards.

Thanks for that. I feared that maybe the case. Thankfully no real cash lost. Atleast it may make a rather fetching, if politically incorrect, tea cozy!
