Why ???

This tunic was listed for a long time for sale at around $5500 a decent price for what it is.....but now the seller has relisted it and on top of that removed and restitched the sleeve eagle which was originally zig zag stitched by machine to the tunic...and now its a P.O.R. tunic...this is why I stopped buying SS tunics because they just couldnt be happy selling something for what it is and they just have to profit grossly on tampered with items..this dealer is normally pretty good and a decent guy.

Hi John,thought I must defend myself on this occasion, I've put the original images back up on my website code# 1986 if you would like to compare these images with the new set code#2093 I think you will notice the eagle hasn't been tampered with at all. Although I must admit in my description in the earlier listing I did mistakenly say the eagle was machine applied instead of hand applied. Hopefully I can put this to rest now as I would hate to see a nice tunic damned.

To be fair you stated that the Eagle was "machine applied before the sleeve lining was put in" that was quite a miss. This tunic has been posted in a thread on this forum previously with the eagle pictures and others commented on it. I will try and find that thread. Until then I hope I was wrong .

Found the thread and the photos are the same so it was a mistake of wording that had me believing it had been machine stitched. But still confused at the POR part.
