yes it is. In my opinion there is to much space between the runes. would not be in my collection

Yeah, put those on a green backing, maybe. Not on a collar tab IMO.

Here is the back. The runes are rotated clockwise by quite a bit compared to anything I am familiar with. Would the RZM have allowed something this far off? It is for sale at http://www.collectortocollectormilitaria.com/

Early in this thread , this gentleman brought up the issue of spacing between the runes. Attached is a image of 2 breast runic badges from my collection plus the collar tab. One is on navy blue, the other police green. The position of breast runes is unique to that badge. Those runics do not conform to a collar tab as we are seeing from the subject example of this thread. Also, keep in mind that there are period photos showing collar tab runics cut out and used as breast runes. I can only assume the reverse is true as well, as from Brads post.

I agree completely with Peter ... appears to be an interesting tab and the bullion work's very nice and tight.
