Anyone do ss research on ss #'s?

Was there a service list for enlisted personnel?

any help researching ss sgt with ss # of 36958 would be appreciated! He served in 12.III.5 in 1935.

Also, a document lists for another man lists his "Sip. Nr." as "337 394" Not sure if this is an ss # or another RuSHa based ID # of some sort.

Any info welcomed!
