    Skull/Trench Art

    Good day Guys
This skull attached to a spoon is said to have been collected by a POW and was attached to a board together with some other items-heer breast eagle, tags and some other insignia. As often said judge the item and not the story so here is a pic for review. Any comments as to its originality would be appreciated

Thanks for all the feedback guys. From what I could see the skull pins go through holes in the spoon. It was hard to make out as the spoon is fixed to a board. Here is the dog tag marked Stalag.

I believe that it is an "RZM 52" skull. Very interesting!

Maybe it was a work in progress that the maker never had time to complete. He may have just been using the spoon to provide a metal base for whatever he was intending to create and never got far enough to trim off the handle and excess metal to leave the shape he planned.

                    a spoon?
