Hello Everyone,
A friend of mine in Czech rep that has been collecting for about 25 years brought to my attention pants that were found. It was actually his friend that saw an old man with a cart wheel full of old clothes. He saw some camo material peeking out of the cart and stoped the man. The old guy said he was taking the old clothes to "zbirna"(either second hand store or recycling). He was cleaning out his house. Anyway to make a long story even longer, the camo was 1944 patter pea dot pants and a winter cammo (heer) hood. (believe it or not) The old guy gave it to him.
My question is how much would I expect to pay for these pants here in North America. The reason is, if he asks a lot less of the expected price I might invest in them. Up to now the most I 've ever spent was 500 $ for a SS tunic and my wife is still reminding me of that....Thank you for reading this..

PSThe last time I was visiting my relatives, my friend called me to come with him for a drive. We ended up in a small village in a barn. A person that visited his Army surplus store said that they found a box in the barn with clothes in it if he'd be interested. When we got there it was a wooden box with an eagle on it. Inside was full of 1944 peadot tops and bottoms. They had a red tag? attached to them. No one knew how it got there, it was probably stolen on the way to the front....
