Dove Grey Sleeve Eagle on Cloth Backing

Well, here I am again hoping that my latest addition meets the criteria for being a good sleeve eagle.
As you may know from my earlier posts I am not very good at spotting good from dud.
I bought the story with this one and not the item.
Story was removed by ladies Dad who was serving in the Highland Brigade in Normandy and this was from his first hit?!
Any opinions welcomed.

I was 99.9% certain on this one and I am guessing that the cloth is original as well due to the provenance.

Remember, don't buy the story. It could cost you.
Unless, you get some nice period pictures, or other indisputable evidence.

Thanks Jack, I know about buying the item and not the story and being a member here has certainly helped my collecting a great deal.
In this case though the eagle was not expensive and the lady who was selling it was very genuine.
I am pleased with this new addition to my collection
