    Runes With A View

    Hi Everybody,

Please forgive the awful pun - sorry but I've always been a one when it comes to dodgy puns.

Anyway, I just wondered what you make of these. I originally thought they were police pocket runes but then they are not in bullion.

The runes measure approx. 30mm high, and have been cut from something. I don't know if my picture shows this but the backing fabric has a fold down one edge, as found on the borders of stitched items, a pocket for example. The runes appear to have been well made; there is also a backing fabric (black) around the runes.

All thoughts, comments, puns, welcomed and appreciated.

    Thanks for looking.

    Best regards,
    Toby.

I don't know how useful this is, but here's an angle shot of the obverse:

        Hi Toby;

The patch reminds me of a partially destroyed EM collar tab.
        Best regards,

        Tony

Looks like a collar patch to me too.

            Tony, Robin,

Thanks for replying. A friend of mine, picked it up, some time back, along with a Signals sleeve patch, in similar cut-out state.

Now, I just need the rest of it, the tunic that is .

            Thanks again.

            All the best,
            Toby.
