    SS M43 Feldbluse original?

    Hello,

Is this M43 SS Felubluse original?
I think tunic and collar tabs are repro and sleeve eagle may be original.
Your opinions welcome. Sorry poor photos.

well i would buy the tunic. im not sure on the insignia though. i've never seen tabs with that thick of weave, but as far as just the tunic goes without the insignia i think its a good one. 5 buttons, herringbone lining.. looks like a typical late war SS field tunic to me. as far as the markings go i can post some pictures of the two SS tunics i have with those same style markings, if anyone needs to see em.

hey sorry for such a delay. i haven't logged in, in a wile. the question here is the Wehrmacht factory markings on an ss tunic... that was actually common at the end of the war because the ss uniform factories were being overrun by the Russians. i have a Wiking tunic with Wehrmacht factory markings. i will take pictures of it and post them asap

The combination of SS-BW (indicating production in a SS factory) and an Army Depot Stamp (E44) is, for me, a red flag. The SS-BW stamp itself has me worried. And finally, if the sleeve eagle is bad and there is no sign that there was a previous eagle, then the tunic itself - which is supposed to be an issue piece - is dead on arrival (IMO).
