One thing has always puzzled me though, why were there no rear plates found, perhaps they are still down there??????

What happened to the motorbikes? seems rather strange that they just took off the plates and through them in the lake????? are you sure that they are not recent made and them put in lake?

They did bring up motorbike parts as well I have been told, one of them as been rebuilt apparently and is being ridden around Russia somewhere!

The SS Nord discarded most of their SS insignia as they were on the run from the Soviets as it were, they did not want to be obviously identified as SS so I am led to believe
