    Johnny, Ohlau... you are absolutely right I actually left the show about three hours ago ... unfortunately many that I saw here are "put together" one lookers.

        SOS Uniforms;

        When did WWII in Europe end, 1990? Most those tunics look about that date.

                  One must wonder about a source that spells VT without the Umlaut.......

                    That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life.

                      SS tunics

                      Some nice SS tunics were at the show if you knew what to look for.

                        I'd love to go but being in Australia I'd want to make sure the trip is worth while. Going all that way to see a virtual "fake fest" would be a bloody shame. Though I would like to put faces to names from some of the guys here on the forum.

                          Pic #13 - Outstanding original.

                          Pic #7 - A nightmare, in my opinion.

                          Pic #9 - Nice-looking uniform, but the Bahnschutz eagle being passing off as an early SS-VT sleeve eagle is getting a bit tedious these days.

                            What is the difference between the SS VT and bahnshutz eagle that would warrant your concern in this situation? Based on the other insignia, adding a bahnshutz eagle to make it more real makes little sense. Were u at the SOS?

                              Hello,

                              Fake or not, I really liked the SS-Ostubaf. Totenkopf Uniform with the cuff band.

                              Best,

                              James

                                Yeah, nice tunic. Brought 30k. Worth much more IMO.
