    Hello, from these photos what can you say about this cap?

    Need some better shots of the skull and adler...inside looks suspect to me...I am no expert though, lets wait to see what they say.

        needs more picture. the first feeling, for me, it's negative based on wool and lining but there are some good things. so... more pictures

          Looks like a rebuilt cap to me. Good liner, Good SB but a not so good wool body. The wool and over all shape is not a classic Lubstein.

          Without seeing behind the SB we can see the SB was attached by hand along the visor

          Let me add also that there are some Lubsteins with hand applied visors, but in this case, probably not.

                            You would think the faker would at least put a period sweatband on the cap. Pure crap. That Lubstein logo was used in civil caps.

                              Isn't the visor post-war plastic, or did they have that pressed/molded style in the TR ?
