Interesting, I have never seen his signature where he writes his full name. Here is a calling card that I have, using only his first initial like often seen.

        blue eyes I remember.
Not knowing what we were getting involved in at the time, I spotted her at a "festival" we were invited to attend back in 2008. Did not get close enough to see the blue eyes, but it was certainly her - some of the attendees were very proud to proclaim her notariety out loud, and very happy to know she had made the journey, making what was touted as an unprecedented appearance. For multiple reasons, the "festival" was really not our thing, and we left after a short period of time . . . I certainly did not feel welcome, and it was made clear I could take no photos. One thing always struck me as odd - seeing the way she feigned such a high level of importance while walking through the crowd, and it was even more intriguing to see so many at the festival carry her in such high regards.

I agree. There is a quirky, old, Native American (?) saying here in the US - "Don't judge another man until you have walked a mile in his moccasins." The older I become, the more I seem to recognize this as the best plan of action in many situations . . .

Nazis, neo or otherwise will not be tolerated here. Nor will their sympathizers and supporters. If that is the way you roll, then go elsewhere. Google will show you the way.

                My response

My opinion of Gudron has more to do with her as a part of living history. Since I do not know Gudron, I am not aware of her views one way or another. As some of you may know I have been a volunteer with Hospice for the past 6 years and most of the patients I help are old and infirm without any hope... Does the nursing home that Gudron is involved in not help the old and infirm or former members of the WSS?? Other causes she is involved in I am not aware of. Should the old fighters be left in the street at 86+ years old??? I bet the day they die most collectors of SS cloth would be clamoring to get their hands on their pictures and keep sakes. Like it or not many people would love to hear the story they have to tell, good or bad. It's a part of history. Am I wrong to think so many of them were great fighters in their time and due to just being a member of the WSS they are rejected by society and state if I am correct??? Maybe I am not correct. It seems in recent history all we hear is the stories of the camp survivors but nothing of the battles from the ones that were on the front with little to do with Himmler's plan.

I am not excusing anyone from anything...only God knows what they were involved in. No judgement here. But everyone deserves a death with dignity even when they did not extend that to others. Being called a "Neo-Nazi" by some is fine if you feel the need to express yourself in that way...but you don't really know me. I can only speak for myself but i would love to know who wore the tabs I owned and to hear the story they have to tell. Soon they are all going to be gone along with each soldiers story!

Most of you can agree at some point in your collecting life you have been called a neo-Nazi, pedopile (yep!), racist....and other indearing term when one hears that you collect German Heer helmets....or anything German for that matter from the war. Forget ever mentioning German and WWII in the same sentence in France and it's over.

                Anyway, I'm done.

How 'bout spelling her name right ?? It's Gudrun, NOT "Gudron".
