      Nice !

The combination is absolutely nice., but NEVER they are stampes SS-BW as a rule.

      Not real.

All the additions are ok, in my opinion later added., but the jacket...hmmm ., I would pass.

      Just an opinion.

        SS Panzer wrapper

I still am not totally convinced about this jacket and I am posting some additional pics of the complete wrapper.

As you can see, the cut of the jacket is typical SS, vertical front seam, but with pointed collars (not typical for SS-wrappers).

Back panel of the jacket is made out of one part (typical for the SS wrappers).

Length of the body is like the Army wrappers (much longer than the SS wrappers, which gives a shorter look to the sleeves) and size stamp numbering on the inside is typical for Heer.

HBT lining which is used may indicate wrapper dates from 1943 or 1944 after the surrender of Italy . Wool which is used is from very nice quality.

So what do we have here then? A very nice tailor made jacket? A fantasy jacket? A copy?

IMO if copy, then there should be more out there.

If fantasy, then what happened? Somebody put in a fake SS-BW stamp or put in an originally stamped Italian HBT Liner afterwards?

I add a picture of a line up of an entire SS tank crew. Watch the men in the middle. The length of his jacket is the same as this one.

If tailor made, then why this BW stamp? As far as I can find out about this BW-stamp. It is not a control stamp but indicates that this garment should have left an Bekleidungswerk which worked for the SS. Like the Betr. Ra. stamps.

Perhaps any new light on this enigmatic wrapper?

        Regards

Could it be genuine? Possibly, maybe, but very doubtful in my view. Too many points that make it questionable from the limited pictures shown, and from the latest pictures collars are very pointed, length as you point out unusually long.

Could you buy it and be happy with it for ever, or would you always have a doubt. As ever unless there was absolute provinance to it why would you buy this over another one if you can find one of course.

            Just my limited thoughts.
