It looks like an original collar tab that has been laundered.

              Collar Tab

Original. Bob Hritz may have hit the cause of condition exactly right.

This is a tough one then. I have a chance to purchase the tab but don't have any idea what it will be worth in washed condition. Could I get some opinions by pm or posted as to value? I don't want to pay to much. Thanks, Robert

A good one is worth about 400-450 dollars so this one must be a bit lower. How much depends on you and the seller. I don´t think anyone can say exactly how much it is worth, that is something you and the seller has to talk about I´m afraid. I would not pay more than maximum 250 maybe but that´s me

Good luck paying less than $500 for an original skull tab.

Yes I have seen some of them under 500. One on e-stand 400 for that one ,, one on the collectors guild 470 something and some more also between 4-500 who I don´t remember where I have seen..So their is a few of the under 500 still...

This looks to be a pumpkinhead so they should go around 700.00. In this condition probably 500.00 would be OK.
