Hello Keen SS collectors

I have to ask the members here about this SS 8 years medal.

Is it orginal or a copy ?
I bring it home today from a near friend. He get hands of this SS medal for about 7 years ago.

I have add some pics include the medal on weight in grams.

I need to check it out before i buy it.
What is normal markedsprice in US $ today for this medal as shown?

It is original. These medals can vary slightly in weight....I have a similar one which weighs 22.0g without the ribbon.
Pity about the mangled suspension loop.

The medal seems to have all the traits that I've come to see in originals.
The ribbon loop seems to be mis-shapen. Can't say about weights or current prices.

There are 'specialists' of these 8 year SS medals here. They will know with authority.

The tear drop ring looks original but bent. A nice example!
