Fake, but made from original collar tab?!

Which collar tab would have been used for this one? A regular one is much smaller.

            See pictures.

Perhaps you have some close ups of an original one? I tried the search function before, but was not a great help.

            Thanks

First off Robert is right...runes are usually bullion,or silver.Never white thread. Also when you unfold a tab,it has plenty of area to be the size of this badge, plenty.
One was sold on estand a ways back.offered anyway. There are 2 types of these,Oakleaf has one type on a uniform, the less nicer of the 2.Heres one but not sure of it...http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...helferin+badge

youll never find anything searching with the word "decal" a decal is a sticker, this is a patch..or badge..

While we're on the subject ... what does everyone think of the Oakleaf ensemble ?

I stopped at the piping, which is fake.

If you grap it or it is yours simply Reshape it into a collar tab again

First of all, thanks Robin and Wewelsburg for your explanations .
Secondly, Wewelsburg, can you give the outcome of the one shown on the thread.
Apparently the link to the referenced thread does not work properly.
