Germanische Leistungsrune in Silver and Bronze

This is something I've wanted to do for many years, make a pair of the two grades of Germanische Leistungsrune from the two known types of original badge.

In the past I've had both grades in the thicker style but thanks to a Dutch collector here I acquired one of the thinner types in bronze,so a collecting goal of more years than I care to mention achieved.

As I get older, there is one cardinal lesson I have learned in collecting.

If you want something badly enough, and are prepared to wait long enough, it will turn up.

And it will turn up when you least expect it.

There is nothing surer.

Yes for sure, we all need a bit of luck sometimes. Robin is spot on and I'm sure he knows how long an interest this badge has been for me. Over the years a few become available but the thinner types are difficult to find, hence a long wait.

I've not seen it in person but Robin has a very nice thin one
