They actually put skulls on alot of stuff. Unfortunately these have been taken off.But you can still see the impresions.

You can show the inside of the flap and show what type of prongs the skull has. My stepdad was in the Checkertail Clan 325th Ftr Group, and brought back an identical holster with skull.

Hi Gentlemen,
Thanks for all your help. I have taken a few more shots of the skull. I bought this holster as a complete rig wiyh byf41 luger ,2 matching mags, and tool. From the condition I received it in (crusty, uncared for) I don't believe it has been In a collection. I am feeling that the rig is a vet bring back. I bought it from Simpsons LTD. I have not shot photos of the gun yet but if you would like to see, I can.
