collar pips?

Are these small pips original and accepted as SS collar pips?

They are approx. 1 cm square and prongs are on the outside

There was not regulation for using the SS markewd pips only. All the SS VT items pre war made was marked with SS, due a more higher taxes paid for ss marked items. Your pips could be find on the many war time made items
