    SS VT buttons

    Have got this buttons. One from aluminium and one nickel? Are they fakes? Thank you.

      Hello Wagenrad,

      IMO the buttons are fakes! The skulls on the front are different to the originals and also the backside is wrong.

            Has someone pictures of a comparable ones skull button from Assmann which is a confirmed original?

                  my memory must be blurred.... i'm sure the reverse was very similar, is there a original skull button with similar reverse?

                    Skull Button

                    There are regular tunic buttons with a very similar reverse, which is dangerous. I will look at my small collection of skull buttons to see if if I can find a skull with this reverse. I don't recollect this reverse on a skull button off the top of my head.

                      Skull Buttons

                      Mine are limited to 1194/40, SSRZM63, and blank with no marks. I do not recall an original marked close to the reverse of the one posted in this thread.

                        I can only agree on this, there are prooven originals and relics with these markers, but never saw a "A" relic.
