Indeed! Seller picked these up (primarily with non miltary items) at an estate sale of a deceased vet...
He admits that he's not very knowledgeable about military artifacts ...such as these "bring back" souvenirs. Can't believe I typed this incorrectly at the beginning of this thread...oh well

The outcome:
Well after the price jumped (it was listed on Evilbay by a non military seller) the auction got canceled... but immediately relisted for some reason....

The skull and tab were described simply as "patch" and "pin"... so few people noticed it...few viewers.
Only 4 people or so were bidding against each other on this lot and it sold for $516USD total.
I got outbid by $18 bucks... BUMMER!

I wonder if the winner is a WAF member?
