Cap with SS insignia - original?

Hello!

A friend of mine has taken some photos of an cap with ss insignia which he was offered. I told him to post this one in the forum to get some opinions about it.

What do you say? Original cap with fake insignia? All fake? All original? Original insignia added to an original cap?

I have my doubts but I´m far away from beeing an expert on SS clothing and I`ve only seen this pictures, too.

As I've sent you in reply to your PM the insignia are fake and appear to have been coloured in using a highlighter pen

Can't really give an informed comment on the cap itself but I wouldn't buy it.

as I wrote the cap isn`t mine and also I wrote that I have doubts. I would never buy such an item which looks like that.

But you know how it is: When somebody wants to have expert opinions like my friend it doens´t matter what "not experienced" buddies like me say

Those Insignia are putting off an eerie Chernobyl Glow. That Cap is Toxic ! Perhaps a Movie Prop item from "Toxic Nazi Zombie Surfers Must Die". One of my favorites.

And now the unbelievable chirstmas joke:

The seller told my buddy, that the cap is an original item and he got it from the veteran himself.

I ask myself in which war the veteran fought- maybe star wars against the muppet show...
