More pics would be necessary to know for sure but they do look like a nice set set of SS panzer straps

The piping does not look good even at this distance. Show a closer photo and I will change my opinion if the piping is period rayon.

Shoulder strap pz ss
I had a pair of SS cavalry shoulderboards just like the ones pictured on this thread, but after studying them for a couple days in person, I didn't think that the straps were original. I paid top $$$ for those straps from a reputable dealer, but my "gut" feeling was that the straps were bad. I had many original SS straps in my collection for comparison, and the cavalry boards had a "newer" feel, look, and smell, to them. The construction wasn't too bad, but it didn't compare to the wartime sewing techniques. IMO, these SS pz. straps are postwar, but that is just based on these pics, and in some cases, it's much harder to detect fakes from photos. I only bought straps from dealers or collectors that guaranteed me a refund if I didn't like them, and on more than a few occassions, I returned questionable shoulderboards. Good luck with these straps!!!
