LAH - Officers cuff title.

Hi Guys,
I need to your learned observations of this cuff title. Is it real? Someone said it was a scarce early officers 'Heavy Silver Bullion' version. - But hey...I don't know.
It shows that 'crusting' as I have seen before on collar tabs.

I have seen a similar example in Uric of England's Cuffbands book, vol.2, pg.58.

It looks to me as though the bullion has been deliberately aged .... using battery acid or a similar corrosive to simulate oxidisation ? I've been proved wrong before on the hand embroidered LAH titles which is why I didn't comment earlier.

If the band material is bad, then the embroidery obviously is as well by default. This style of embroidery did exist on some original cuffbands, however, "Adolf Hitler" being one of them...

No dog in this hurt but that early style officers AH will oxidize the bullion pretty quickly... JMHO Billbert
