SS RING - real or fantasy ???

    Guys,

What do you think about the SS ring ? It is marked on iside behind the sig runen, G&S inside a box, what appears to be a 19 in the middle, and then 850 towards the bottom. Each side panel has skulls that are simular to the ones used on the standard bears gorget. Opinions would be appreciated. I found one in the fourm search engine, but it had bogus RZM, or DRGM markings. It was also different in style. Regards, Grant

This is not a period manufactured ring.

The "craftmenship" (could be made by a butcher) does not match the quality of privately purchased rings from the period - you better stay away from that one.

Most likely currently manufactured... Based on the quality (or lack there of) a possible Source?

Be very, very careful with any kind of TR jewelry!

                  1980's fantasy ring...worth about $5 back then.

Even an amateur can see that ring is not good.
