    [Q] Measurements of SS eagle and skull

    I'm asking on this forum, how much does SS totenkopf and adler (eagle and skull) measures in all 3 dimensions (width, height, depth).

    I'd be very gratefull for answer!

    (picture is symbolic and they're FAKE)

    Don't forget the weight and pin attachment!

    Study textbook examples and sure, the rest of what has been on the market.
    You will be able to recognize the differences by eye.

    The search feature here on the forum is an amazing reference tool to see and judge what is being discussed here.

      how do I hate answers like this..

      Well, I searched first 2 pages and find nothing, so here's the reason I made this thread. If you can find it, please post instead of being smart.

        Weird question.. there are many SS skulls and eagles: different makers, different dies...

          I haven't studied measurements much, as I haven't seen a need.
          I don't think that the weight info would be very useful at all.
          I started keeping up with the weights a long time ago and then realized
          that the originals vary in weight a little bit, even among the exact same kind. Also, some fakes are already the perfect weight anyway.
          Look for the flaws. Thats all you need.

            @SScollector: thx
            @cysior: thx

            I'm just asking for measurements, because I'm buying each of them(fake) and I'm willing to use them on something else than millitaria.

            I'm planning to glue them somewhere and I'm wondering about size of these 2 insignias if they will fit.

            So, before anyone else start asking;

            Can anyone here just take his/hers SS totenkopf, a ruler(a vernier would be optional) and just take these 3 dimensions(again, optional would be in millimeters, but inches would do it too)?
