Bevo SS Collar - Opinions?

Can you I please ask for your informed opinion on this collar? I think it is a good, late war collar.

Is there something in particular that gives it away? I am hoping to learn how to recognize good from bad.

It's a fake. Do a search on the forum for bevo tabs and look at the pics, the differences in the shape of the runes, the construction and materials will become apparent. In this case it's the way the runes are embroidered that's a dead giveaway.

If you look at originals the runes are longer and the crossbar of each rune is thinner than the upright parts.

Man, I really love BeVo collar tabs for some reason.
I only have one but I want more!

also notice how the inside lines make a rounded corner on the fakes but on the real one it is nice and sharp angle. These have fooled many.
