When US GI's picked up war prizes in the field it was common to stick other unrelated insignia on them; I have seen many holsters littered with all kinds if insignia (SS Luft Heer etc) so it could easly be take on the tough trip ahead of them. I wiould need to see a better photo to be sure, but so far it looks like a good TK and at a great price!

Sorry the pics are so fuzzy - close-up shots from a phone camera in less-than-adequate lighting don't produce the best results. This is the best I can do tonight. Tomorrow I'e either got to buy it or let it go, as it is at a show that ends this weekend.

Okay, well for better or for worse...here's a better photo.

Also a pic of the "S" device. Though obvious.y not actually of SS origin, does anyone recognize the source.

            Opinions welcome.

Sorry but that's an obvious casting.

                  Thanks guys. Sort of.

Anyway, it's attached to a 1943-dated frog on a WZ24 Polish bayonet, so maybe not a total loss. We'll see.
