Are SS Allach #504 striped vases more rare if they don't have a model number on the bottom? This one just has the green runes. Will post pics if I buy it. Thanks!!

the short answer is no but all Allach is rare IMO.

Sometimes the model number is just overglazed in a way that you need to look at the surface in a specific way to see the number - I am sure the number is there.

You want to turn paper into real values - then buy it.

Thorsten is correct about these vases - the 502's have the same problem but if you look hard enough you should see it.

Is it possible that some #504 vases did NOT have a model number on the bottom?

Thanks everyone - TONY S - The vase is at Bill Shea's website. I asked them to hold it at an angle, but they still say there's no number. The color pattern and design is identical to other Allach pieces. I thought some items have the number and some don't, but I'm far from an expert.
