Hello,

There is a changes to buy this early model cover, the pictures is a first set of 2 that i received from the seller, is there any change that the clips are oke ?

Actually the "general shape" isn't "that bad" in my mind, not what you see normally but not that far away either (when compared to other rivets "used today").

But then again, who has seen good rivets with a number on them until they were recently posted in this forum. So who knows what was used, or better what was not used back then.

But you are right in that they look funky and someone seems to have tried decreasing the diameter or did whatever causing the metal to shine like a new dime on the edge (which doesn't look like a "natural" edge due to that).

So what I mean is that there are many issues apart from the rivets with that cover and to me it is definitely a bad one.

I usually do not argue with you on camo items, and wont do in this case either

I just see that the size and "age" of the rivets are not on par with originals. These alu rivets on originals is another thing, as careful students has observed.

And there are other issues as well...

The whole surface of the metal parts is not what one wants to see with a cover in a condition like that one.

Whatever, I don't even want to think about that, the ensemble is bad no matter what was used.
