    Allgemeine SS Foot Regiments tab number and cuff bands

    Is there a list or reference on what Allgemeine SS Foot Regiments collar town unit numbers correctly correspond to cuff band number and red or blue borders.

    the A-SS cuff tittles are the "Sturm" Cie number...

          so would each standart have same red or blue border 1 thru 10 cuffs under each unit?

            Yep,

            1 thru 12

            Each Sturmbann an other color (green or 1 thru 4) etc...

            But better explained in Angolias book

            and after 1938/39 no more collor edging was worn on the "Sturm" cufftittle only silver.

                I kind of have a question in relation to this. When you were placed in a standarte, was it based on where you lived? I had an uncle who lived in Berlin in Charlottenburg, so would that have meant he was in the 6th standarte? I’ve only got 1 picture of him in his SS uniform from 1933 and you cant see his collar tab. He had previously served in the 7th SA standarte, I know that for sure because I have documents that say that.
