    SS Steel Buckle - Opinions Please

    Good day Gentlemen

    I was shown this today. What I assume to be a steel SS buckle. There are no makers marks on it at all. It is a bit rusty and the catch looks to have been repaired at some stage.

    I'm afraid I don't know my SS buckles so I have no idea if this is the real McCoy. I have had a look at several threads here but haven't found a steel buckle. Experience tells me that a lot of SS stuff that comes out of the woodwork in the UK is fake.

    What do you Gentlemen think of this? Sorry about the rubbish front photo.

    If real - what is it worth?

      I know - what a pain

      I drove out to an old folks home to look at this and when I got home realised that I had screwed up the key photo. I will go back out next weekend.

      Is there anything to tell from what can be seen or the back which is more focused?
