Help with unknown tunic

Hello

First of all, i am sorry if this is in the wrong subforum, but i did not know where to put it...

Can you please give me your opinion on this tunic. The cut is german, resembeling allgemeine or maybe SS Baueinsatz Ost tunic, but there are some differences. All buttons marked with Assmann & Sohne... The colour is dark green. I really dont know what to think of it, hope you can help me with your opinions.

I think Ian is right, I have a West German luft uniform which is near enough the same bar the colour.

I dont know, the uniform originates from Canada...
I looked at some west german uniforms on the internet, Volksmarine is similar, but without breast pockets and the lower pockets have straight pocket flaps... I did not found any good photos of airforce uniform...

What is confusing is the "in sewn, blank" shoulderboards...

The tunic is not in my hands right now. It has been offered to me...
On the label there is only the name of the owner or producer, "THEDORE FRANZCK".

Exactly, but it looks like you need to do a search in the German language. (the name is probably the maker)

Yes, i have tried that, google only throws out some facebook accounts
Belive me, this is NOT one of those threads where the author did not even take some time to first check for himself, and then asked for opinions . But i striked a stone, and i didnt get anywhere with the (re)search. I did not even estimated if the tunic is pre or post war...

All of the uniforms regarding west german airforce i came across by now had the classical lower pockets, with straight flops. Non of them had the "tilted" flops and "inner" lower part ( like algemeine cut ) of the pocket...

That is why i think it might be something pre may 1945...

Damn, i like a challenge, but this is a hard one
