USA HJ patch ?

Just a curiosity here, going by B Davis book "badges and insignia of the Third Reich" , who has seen or have a real USA HJ triangle patch ?

Whats their history ?

Never even heard of it. What does Davis say about it? (I don't have the book). I presume there is not a photo? If so, can you post?

I think there was also an article in the Military advisor including a pic of this patch.

There is an example of this insignia pictured in the Saris book "Handbook of the Hitlerjugend" on page 590, and he states this example did exist during the period.

Saris states the example shown is from a salesmans sample board from a manufacturer in Southern Germany. He also states fakes of this item began to surface around 2004. Another interesting point he makes is that in studies of period photos mostly found in period magazines of Deutche Jugend in the US do not show shoulder straps or sleeve triangles in wear on the uniforms. Saris has not seen photos of this triangle in wear during his extensive research according to the book.
